Lesson Cancellation Policy

By learning from Jaime Gibson students commit to 4 blocks of ten half hour lessons per year.
An accepted lesson cancellation is a lesson that is canceled with 24 hours notice due to illness. This can occur once per teaching term. Cancellations above once per term, even for another illness or holidays, must be paid for in order to keep your lesson time with Jaime Gibson.

When an accepted cancellation occurs a make up lesson will be allocated within 7 days.

If a student is unable to play their wind instrument for any reason, Jaime Gibson offers music theory lessons. From AMEB Grade 6 exams and above, students must have sat and passed a AMEB Music Theory grade 2 Exam so it is a good idea to study music theory where possible . Jaime has theory books, programs and trial exams available in his studio for use by students.

This policy is a standard practise for Music Teaching Studios and recommended by the Music Teachers Association of NSW.
